Bonjour! I’m back with my final travel post (until I get a chance to escape again). My boyfriend surprised me and booked a long weekend away to Paris for my Christmas/2 year anniversary present. This was my first time in Paris so we did all the touristy bits but I’d love to go back and scout down some cool restaurants and bars etc. I hope you enjoy and get a good feel for our time there.

Today’s post is the first of a new section on my blog called ‘Visual Diaries’. I’m a very visual person and when I’m browsing through Tumblr I love collecting images and grouping them into various categories (I do also actually have a life). Whether that be wide groups of Interior, Architecture & Fashion or smaller more specific groups like Fashion details (e.g pockets) or Geometric Architecture etc.

Autumn/Winter Lookbook.

The colder months are upon us! *Read in Jon Snow’s voice* Winter…is…coming.  This season is my favourite in terms of Fashion and styling, I love to layer and play around with different shapes, silhouettes, textures of fabric and the desaturated shades and colours that tend to appear at this time of year. Here are 3 outfits I’m going to be rotating throughout this Autumn/Winter, I hope you get some inspiration!

The girl in the striped pyjama shirt.

IMG_5816.JPGStyling one of my favourite looks that has been on repeat lately, it’s the perfect look for a relaxed smart/casual vibe. When I’m spending time putting outfits together I always hang them from my wardrobe like this so I thought I’d photograph them and create a mini look book for you all. I actually came across this shirt in the sleepwear section at Topshop. It definitely has that “Can I borrow one of your shirts to sleep in?” feel which I love. It’s the ideal oversized boyfriend shirt.  Continue reading “The girl in the striped pyjama shirt.”

I recently moved back to England and into my old house where my bedroom hadn’t changed since I was about 7. I’m now 21 years old and sorry dad but as much as I loved (not) climbing up a ladder into my ‘captains bed’ (ahoy!) every night, it was definitely time to redecorate my bedroom. I was entering a new chapter in my life, a fresh start, so what better time to transform the nest into somewhere I’d feel comfortable and at my most relaxed/vegetative state possible (verging on comatose).
